Yeon Academy Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Yeon Academy. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, online learning programs, tutoring services, Korean language classes, piano lessons, educational materials, assessments, and other services.

By using our website or enrolling in a Yeon Academy program, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If a student is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms on the student's behalf.

1. Our Services

Yeon Academy provides educational services that may include:

  • Korean language instruction for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students

  • Piano and music lessons

  • K–12 tutoring and academic support

  • Online live classes

  • Private and group instruction

  • Learning materials and educational resources

  • Student assessments and level evaluations

  • Assignments, practice activities, and progress support

Services, schedules, instructors, class formats, and availability may change from time to time.

2. Student Enrollment

Students or their parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate enrollment information.

For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent for enrollment and participation in applicable programs.

Students are expected to participate respectfully and appropriately in classes and communicate with instructors in a professional manner.

3. Payments and Fees

Applicable tuition, registration fees, materials fees, and other charges will be displayed or communicated before enrollment.

Payment must be made according to the payment terms provided at registration.

Yeon Academy reserves the right to suspend or cancel access to classes or learning materials when required payments are not received.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Class cancellation and rescheduling policies will be provided during enrollment.

Students should provide reasonable advance notice when they cannot attend a scheduled lesson.

Missed classes, late cancellations, or no-shows may not qualify for a refund or make-up lesson unless otherwise stated in the applicable program policy.

5. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the specific course, program, subscription, or service purchased.

Any applicable refund policy will be provided before or at the time of enrollment.

Yeon Academy may not provide refunds for completed lessons, missed classes, or digital materials that have already been delivered, except where required by law or expressly provided by the applicable refund policy.

6. Educational Materials

Learning materials provided by Yeon Academy, including worksheets, lesson plans, videos, assessments, graphics, documents, recordings, and other educational content, are intended for the enrolled student's personal educational use. Students and parents may not reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, or commercially use Yeon Academy materials without written permission.

7. Student Accounts and Website Use

Users must provide accurate information when creating an account or registering for services.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and should notify Yeon Academy if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.

The website may not be used for unlawful, abusive, disruptive, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities.

8. Online Classes

Online classes may require an internet connection, compatible device, camera, microphone, and appropriate software. Yeon Academy is not responsible for interruptions caused by a student's internet connection, device, software, or third-party technology.Students should participate in online classes from an appropriate and reasonably quiet learning environment.

9. Student Conduct

Students are expected to:

  • Treat instructors and other students respectfully.

  • Follow class instructions.

  • Avoid inappropriate, threatening, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior.

  • Avoid sharing another student's personal information.

  • Use learning platforms and technology appropriately.

Yeon Academy may restrict or terminate participation when conduct substantially interferes with the learning environment or violates applicable policies.

10. Children's Participation

Yeon Academy may provide educational services to children and K–12 students.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for providing appropriate consent and supervision outside the instructional portion of the program. Yeon Academy does not intentionally request unnecessary personal information from children.

11. Third-Party Services

Yeon Academy may use third-party platforms and services for activities such as online classes, scheduling, payments, website hosting, communications, and educational technology.

Use of those services may also be subject to the third party's terms and privacy policies.

12. Intellectual Property

The Yeon Academy name, branding, website content, original educational materials, graphics, lesson content, and other proprietary materials may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

No ownership rights are transferred to students or users by purchasing or participating in a course

13. No Guarantee of Academic Results

Yeon Academy provides educational instruction and support but does not guarantee a particular grade, test score, academic outcome, language proficiency level, musical performance level, admission result, or other specific result. Student progress may depend on attendance, practice, participation, prior knowledge, and other individual factors.

14. Website Availability

Yeon Academy attempts to maintain accurate and reliable website content but does not guarantee that the website or online services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

15. Changes to These Terms

Yeon Academy may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Updated terms will be posted on the website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website or services after an update may constitute acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
